Gustav is the homage of Cantina di Ortona to the great history

Gustav is a collection that was born in our Ortona, the city that, with Cassino, was one of the two cornerstones of the Gustav Line and that, with it, suffered suffering and destruction.

In December 1943, in fact, Ortona was the scene of a bloody house-to-house battle between German paratroopers and Canadian soldiers, which earned her the nickname "Stalingrado d'Italia".

The Gustav label, created by Cantina Ortona, is an invitation to remember and a tribute to the sacrifices suffered by soldiers and civilians, of which we have touching testimonies that resonate for peace and harmony among peoples.
